Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before the next step.
These answers explain the general process. Admissions confirms current program details and individual appropriateness.
01What programs does Blue Springs Wellness offer?
Blue Springs provides adult Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and outpatient addiction treatment. Current availability and program fit are confirmed during admissions.
02Who does Blue Springs Wellness serve?
The programs are designed for adults ages 18 and older. An assessment determines whether the setting and level of care are appropriate.
03Does Blue Springs offer dual diagnosis treatment?
Yes. Blue Springs provides SUD-primary dual diagnosis treatment. Alcohol or drug use disorder remains the primary treatment focus, while clinically appropriate care for co-occurring depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, or mood instability is integrated when those symptoms affect relapse risk, functioning, safety, or treatment engagement.
04Do you offer in-person care?
Yes. In-person care is provided at 9221 Corbin Ave, Suite 150, Northridge, CA 91324-2482.
05Are telehealth services available?
Telehealth options may be available for appropriate services and participants. Blue Springs is not a telehealth-only provider, and availability varies by program and clinical need.
06What does Blue Springs treat?
Alcohol and drug use disorders are the primary treatment focus. Co-occurring depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, or mood instability may be addressed when they affect substance use severity, relapse risk, functioning, or treatment engagement.
07How is the level of care chosen?
An ASAM-informed assessment considers intoxication or withdrawal risk, biomedical needs, emotional and cognitive needs, readiness for change, relapse risk, and the recovery environment. A website description cannot determine placement.
08Do you accept insurance?
Blue Springs currently evaluates eligible commercial PPO benefits. Verification is not a guarantee of authorization, coverage, or payment. Blue Springs does not enroll, treat, or bill Medicare beneficiaries.
09Can I send my insurance card online?
Yes. Open the secure admissions request page, complete the embedded FormHippo form, and upload clear photos of the front and back of the card before submitting.
010Is Blue Springs an emergency service?
No. Call or text 988 for crisis support. Call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency.
011How do professional referrals work?
Call admissions first. The team can explain current program scope, assessment, availability, and the approved secure method for sending any necessary records.
